The Dhs150 million safari park-zoo will be over 119 hectares and will be split into a safari village, an Arabian village, an Asian village and an African village. There will also be a butterfly park, a botanical garden and educational and veterinary facilities.
By comparison, Dubai Zoo, which was built in 1967, covers less than two hectares.
