Property Finder has appointed Hamza Chaoui as Chief Marketing Officer, marking his return to the role after ten years.

He takes up the role again to oversee Property Finder’s comprehensive regional marketing engine – where he will drive brand equity, scale user and customer acquisition, and boost retention across all active markets.

The real estate platform has assigned the role to Chaoui as he offers a rare combination of a macro-level strategic mindset and a hands-on execution style. His profound familiarity with the regional real estate classifieds sector, the target audiences, and the brand identity makes him uniquely qualified to navigate today’s rapidly changing market dynamics and accelerate the brand’s next phase of expansion.

“I am particularly thrilled to welcome Hamza back to the Property Finder family,” said Michael Lahyani, Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Property Finder. “He is an exceptional leader who possesses a profound understanding of our brand’s DNA and the regional real estate sector.”

The brand said his familiarity with the regional real estate classifieds sector, target audiences, and its brand identity makes him uniquely qualified to navigate today’s rapidly changing market dynamics and accelerate its next phase of expansion.

“Hamza is a strategic thinker who isn’t afraid to roll up his sleeves – which is exactly the blend of leadership we need to accelerate our growth and propel our brand into its next phase of dominance and innovation,” said Lahyani.

His core responsibilities include overseeing Property Finder’s comprehensive regional marketing engine, driving brand equity, scaling user and customer acquisition, and boosting retention across all active markets.

Chaoui plans to progressively embed into high-priority internal workstreams to evolve marketing operations, develop internal teams, and align every initiative with the company’s broader corporate mission.

“I have a deep affection for Property Finder. Coming back feels right – not to repeat what we built, but to take it somewhere we haven’t been yet,” Chaoui said on his appointment. “I look forward to building this next chapter with you and changing living in the region for good.”

Chaoui brings over 20 years of heavyweight brand strategy, marketing, and growth leadership experience spanning Europe and the MENA region. His pedigree includes senior roles at two of the world’s leading advertising agencies, McCann and Ogilvy, which laid the foundation for his expertise in creative transformation.

During his foundational first tenure as Property Finder’s inaugural CMO (2016–2020), he successfully built the company’s core marketing infrastructure and spearheaded the brand redesign that birthed its current brand identity. Most recently, he served as CMO at Car & Classic, Europe’s leading classic car marketplace, where he navigated mature European digital landscapes and advanced martech frameworks; experience he now leverages to meet the massive new opportunities of the modern GCC property market.
