Gambit Communications announces new hires

Gambit Communications announces two new hires, welcoming Crystal Tanios as social media junior account manager and Dana Alomar as PR junior account executive.

Gambit Communications is continuing its rapid expansion with the announcement of two new hires, welcoming Crystal Tanios and Dana Alomar to its team.

The move follows further multinational client wins for the burgeoning independent communications agency, which is headquartered in Dubai servicing the Middle East region.

Crystal Tanios joins as junior account manager on the social media team, bolstering Gambit’s digital credentials with her background at multinational agencies including Leo Burnett and TBWA. An experienced trilingual professional, Crystal has two full bachelor’s degrees (Fashion Design from ESMOD Beirut and Advertising from AUST) and has handled brands such as IKEA, Toyota, Pfizer, Saudi Aramco and SunTop.

Dana Alomar joins as junior account executive on the PR team. A journalism graduate from the American University of Sharjah with a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication and a minor in History, Dana has completed internships on the media side with Esquire Middle East, Zawya and Sharjah24 News.

Jamal Al Mawed, founder and managing director at Gambit Communications said: “We have already doubled in team size in 2021, and that comes with the challenge of finding the right talent. I’m very excited to have Crystal and Dana on board because they represent the young local talent that we are known for, and bring fantastic capabilities and outstanding potential to the team.”

Gambit Communications launched in early 2019, and in two years has established itself in the region’s communications industry, working with major brands such as Ferrari, Jeep, The Ritz-Carlton, BBC, Alfa Romeo, Swissquote and Pagani among others.
