The strategy behind this move comes from the ideology that time on Spotify should feel meaningful and intentional, not something that just slips away in a blur of mindless scrolling. As a result, Spotify is investing in more experiences that leave users feeling more energised, in control and empowered. The platform will also look to thier user base and the creators on our platform for inspiration. That’s why they are expanding into a brand new category: fitness.
