DAMAC Group has unveiled a new brand film ‘For the Love of Our Nation’, inspired by Emirati culture – celebrating the people, values and shared sense of belonging that have helped shape the UAE’s success story.
Filmed across culturally significant locations in the UAE, including the Etihad Museum, the film knits together culturally prominent occurrences in the UAE – such as the traditional Emirati dance Al Rafzah, workplace interactions and scenes of daily life – reflecting the unity of modern UAE society.
Set to an original Arabic song, Tamer Amr (At Your Service), which was commissioned specifically for the film and executed by an all-Emirati creative team, the film reflects a collective Emirati effort brought together by a shared cultural understanding and artistic vision.
“Love for a nation isn’t defined by nationality alone. With this film, we wanted to tell a story that celebrates the UAE’s everyday heroes, who contribute to making this nation great,” said Amira Sajwani, Managing Director of DAMAC Properties.
“Our brand film, ‘For the Love of Our Nation’, is a humble tribute to a place we are proud to call home, its visionary leadership, and the shared values uniting our people together and moving the nation forward. DAMAC has grown alongside the UAE for more than two decades, and we see ourselves as part of this much greater story,” she added.
The song was written, composed, and arranged by Saif Fadhel and performed by singer Mansour Zayed alongside Al Watan Group Choir. Emirati sound engineer Taha Al Ajmi handled the mixing and audio engineering of the track for DAMAC.
The musical approach was built around a balance between the choir and the lead vocalist Mansour Zayed. The Al Watan Group Choir represents the collective voice of the UAE’s people, with different nationalities and generations responding in one unified voice: ‘Tamer Amr’.
The film moves beyond familiar skylines and architecture to focus on the people of diverse nationalities building the UAE: from nurses and frontline workers to construction professionals, architects and business leaders.
In the first five days of its release, the track has reached almost 500k views on Youtube. Available in Arabic and English, the film from DAMAC aims to resonate with audiences from different backgrounds while conveying a shared message: that love for a nation is expressed not only through words, but through everyday acts of contribution, service and dedication.
