Having helmed campaigns for the likes of Under Armour, SiriusXM, WHOOP and many more, De Zen has also been recognised at several awards ceremonies, including CICLOPE, D&AD and Berlin Commercial Awards.

“The team’s love of cinema and art really connects me to their overall goal as a production company. We really align on wanting to push projects as far as they can go,” De Zen said on his appointment.

“It’s also that they’re just really amazing people, and it feels like a proper, global family. That’s what I look for. Good people wanting to do good things while enjoying the process,” he added.

Furthermore, describing his filmmaking approach, De Zen added: “To me, people are incredibly interesting. I instinctively want to explore emotional dynamics in a visceral way. I always have the edit mapped out in my mind and so I would say there’s a pretty strong editorial voice in my work. And I love to look for ways of stepping out of normal day-to-day reality, bending it to make something more conceptual. I just enjoy that more.”

With De Zen’s addition, electriclime° said it aims to continue to grow its global family of directors in an effort to further cementing its reputation as a home for bold, cinematic voices who seek to elevate storytelling across borders.
