Comco MEA celebrates first year with major client wins

Comco Middle East & Africa (MEA), an integrated communications agency headquartered in Dubai, celebrated its first anniversary with a strong client portfolio and a growing team as it aims to introduce its unique brand of strategy-based, impact-driven and channel agnostic way of meaningful storytelling that supports overall client goals.

Comco MEA has won several clients across different sectors over the year including Belcanto and Eden at Dubai Opera, Central Park Towers DIFC, Electric Pawn Shop, Global Educational Supplies & Solutions (GESS) 2022, Hyde Hotel’s Katsuya and Hudson Tavern, Nolte Küchen, Holiday Inn Science Park, Issei at Radisson Damac Hills, Maison D’Vie, Tres Marias Coffee, Yas Plaza Hotels.

The agency is also responsible for handling the communications for Empire Movies’ premieres including Bullet Train, Brahmastra, The Woman King, Lyle Lyle Crocodile, and Where the Crawdads Sing. It was also declared as the official PR agency of the Middle East Film and Comic Con 2023 and Najah Abu Dhabi and Dubai 2022.

In addition, Comco MEA, together with Comco Southeast Asia (SEA), its sister agency handling the SEA market, recently conducted roadshows for property firm RLC Residences in Dubai and Abu Dhabi as among the group’s first of many synergy initiatives. The teams will continue to showcase its strength in cross-regional PR through its new client, Ezra Couture, a UAE-based fashion house.

“Our first year has been paved with a lot of heart and hard work from the team and trust from clients, journalists, key opinion leaders and brand partners who continue to root for us. As the year unfolded, we have defined even further what we stand for. Integrity, excellence and empowering talent – the same values that fortified the foundation of our brand when we formed it six years ago in Southeast Asia still run strong as we expand to this region. We are excited to continue learning and growing in this industry and hopefully impact our community positively through the work that we do,” shared Tricia C. Jimenea, Comco MEA’s managing director and co-founder.

Comco MEA is a member of Comco Mundo League of Enterprises, the parent and umbrella organisation that houses enterprises such as Comco SEA, SEA Wave Pop Culture Studio, Citizen Comco Advocacy Program, Comco Alumni Society, and Taro AOX Digital + Integrated Communications.

“We are proud to share that we have exceeded our first annual projections for Comco MEA. We came in knowing full well how competitive this market is and how threats in businesses continue to loom globally. But the Comco values specifically our purpose of using the power of meaningful storytelling to help improve our communities drive us collectively forward. This is the same spirit that we intend to spread as we explore further expansion opportunities. We look forward to a more exciting new year as the next phase of our ventures unravel and again, our endless gratitude goes out to everyone who has been on this memorable journey with us,” said Ferdinand L. Bondoy, group chief executive director, partner and co-founder at Comco Mundo.
