Chain Reaction appoints Mohamad Itani as Chief Operating Officer

Digital marketing agency Chain Reaction has appointed Mohamad Itani to the role of Chief Operating Officer, taking a strategic step towards the agency’s next phase of growth as it scales its full-funnel, data-driven and transformation-led offering across the region.

Itani brings more than two decades of experience spanning digital transformation, media, partnerships and leadership roles across MENAT and Europe. The agency said it will rely on his start-up mindset and enterprise-scale execution to bring strategic clarity and operational rigor to the agency.

“Mohamad’s appointment comes at a defining moment for Chain Reaction. As we evolve from a performance-led digital specialist into a truly integrated, full-funnel growth partner, his depth of experience across platforms, agencies and regional markets will be invaluable,” said Saif Jarad, CEO of Chain Reaction.

On his appointment, Itani said that the move perfectly defines the next chapter of his career.

“Chain Reaction has long been recognised for its performance DNA and challenger spirit,” he said.

He also explained the core focus of his new role: “My focus will be on strengthening operational excellence, breaking silos, and enabling our people to deliver integrated, outcome-driven solutions that truly move the needle for clients across the region,” he said.

Itani moves from Amazon Ads, where he served as Head of Partnerships for EMEA for six years. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in building regional ecosystems, scaling teams, and shaping go-to-market strategies across emerging and mature markets.

He has also previously served as Vice Chair of IAB MENA, partnering with regional stakeholders to advance digital standards, talent development and ecosystem growth.
