At UM , we are people-centric as they are the DNA of our business model and operation.   When talking about people , diversity always comes first. Diversity in culture, gender as well as age.  This gave us a strong believe in the new generation and their high potentials to play a key catalyst in our business. At UM Qatar , Antariksh  Nadkarni is one of our youth team members who joined us last year as an intern  and he managed to impress his peers with his devotion, dedication and most importantly his eagerness to learn and go beyond his capabilities. He always challenges himself to pursue new skills and pursue better performance results. He worked extensively with our digital team on FIFA world cup 2022 campaigns where he showed discipline, accuracy and proactiveness. In addition, he also worked with the strategy team on though leadership initiative mainly on research and tech trends. Antariksh simply represents a passionate and curious talent who upscales his bars for success.

Career highlights

The word ‘Antariksh’ literally means the universe in the ancient Sanskrit language. I guess that’s how I look at life – The Bigger Picture! My passion is building connections with people.

I was privileged to be part of core performance team that delivered the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 while undertaking research for the Digital strategy on the Metaverse and the Gaming ecosystem for clients such as Vodafone Qatar and Qatar Foundation.

My fascination for podcasts is immense such that I went to the lengths of having my article on ‘Podcasting’ published in the 2022 edition of the EMEA Innovation Annual.

Guiding principles

It may sound cliché but to be frank with you, I believe in the principle of living in the moment, the present is what we have and what matters most, neither the past nor the future. I make sure to imbibe the same principle in my work to maintain productivity. P.S it’s easy to get distracted these days.

Side hustle

I am an avid photographer and cinematographer. I have a fascination to share stories which helps my creative juices flow which indirectly has a positive impact at work while brainstorming ideas and unique media activations for pitches, strategy or devising a media plan. I will be posting soon on my new IG account.
