Nadine Matar, Head of Strategy and Insights, Publicis Middle East has been recognised on Campaign Middle East’s 40 Over 40, which honours leaders who have shaped the regional brand and marketing industry over the past 15 years and more.

This is not a ranking. It is the first edition of an annual platform created to spotlight senior industry figures aged 40 and older. They represent different disciplines and different leadership styles but are all builders of brands and businesses.

These have been recommended as caretakers of client trust and custodians of culture. The 40 over 40 list celebrates the people who have moved the needle – not for a season or for a single campaign cycle, but for several years.


With more than 20 years of experience working with some of the world’s leading brands, Matar has led strategic initiatives across a multitude of industries from automotive to banking, leisure and entertainment, FMCG and QSR. Having lived across three continents and armed with an insatiable curiosity to travel and learn the cultures of the world, Matar approaches every challenge with discovery and insight, formulating strategies that uniquely position brands within culture and also entrenches them within consumer behaviours. Today, Matar brings her deep and diverse strategic skill set to a portfolio of global brands, leading her team with the same discovery and insight across names such as Nestlé, Pizza Hut, Saudia and FAB.

Outside of the office, she is a passionate sports enthusiast with a naturally competitive drive, always striving for excellence, always pushing the boundaries and never resting on conventions.
