Scandinavian dairy cooperative Arla Foods has put its media planning and buying account for the Middle East and North Africa out for pitch.
The account is held by PHD, which won it in 2005 and again after a review in 2012.
PHD is understood to be competing against Mindshare, UM and Carat for the account.
Headquartered in Aarhus, Denmark , Arla Foods is the owner of the dairy brands Three Cows, Lurpak and Anchor.
Established in 1880, Arla Foods has more than 12,000 current owners based in Sweden, Denmark, the UK, Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg, with each owner granted a vote in the cooperative democracy.
The company’s creative account for the MENA region is held by FP7/DXB, which won the brief following a multi-agency pitch two years ago.
