Film and Television Industry Cooperation Understanding Announced between Abu Dhabi and Israel

A historic overarching agreement will foster intercultural cooperation between Abu Dhabi Film Commission and Israel Film Fund, with a special focus on promoting tolerance through the medium of film and television production. The agreement will establish several training and development programs for Emirati and Israeli filmmakers in partnership with the Jerusalem Sam Spiegel Film & Television School TV.

The Abu Dhabi Film Commission (ADFC), the Israel Film Fund (IFF) and the Jerusalem Sam Spiegel Film &Television School (JSFS) have reached an overarching agreement centred around goodwill and bilateral cooperation in the fields of film and television.

Under the new agreement, the film commissions will create an intercultural cooperation, creating content with the goal of promoting tolerance, education and developing a deeper cultural understanding between the Emirati and Israeli people.
