Spotify has announced the rollout of Podcast Clips, a new feature designed to make it easier for listeners to capture, revisit, and share the moments from podcasts that resonate most.

Whether it’s a piece of advice that reframes how someone thinks, a conversation that sparks laughter, or a segment worth sharing with a friend, these deserve more than a mental note. These moments often play a key role in transforming casual listeners into devoted fans.

Saved clips are stored in a dedicated space within “Your Library” and can also be added to podcast playlists, making it easier for listeners to return to meaningful moments over time.

How podcast clips work

Listeners can create a clip by tapping the scissor icon in the Now Playing view while listening to a podcast. The selected moment can then be trimmed, saved, or shared.

Additional sharing options are available through the share button, allowing listeners to choose between sharing a full episode, chapter, timestamp, or clip. Content can be sent directly to friends through Spotify Messages or any supported sharing platform.

Podcast Clips will roll out globally to both Free and Premium users on mobile devices, with availability expanding across more shows over time. Listeners can look for the clip icon while listening to participating podcasts and start saving the moments that matter.
