J.Walter Thompson in Cairo has rolled out a new campaign for Nestlé’s Dolceca ice cream brand.
In Egypt, local brands or individual ice cream shops often serve mastic flavoured ice cream.
The challenge for JWT Cairo was to introduce Dolceca’s mastic flavour with a bang, capitalising on a well-known scenario in Egyptian society: in each company there is always an underdog who has a great idea that is either rejected, called unimaginative, or worse, stolen by a co-worker. The film plays on this scenario.
