The Middle East and North Africa’s adland has finally got itself on to the score sheet at Cannes, courtesy of Y&R Dubai.
The agency has landed a bronze Lion in the outdoor category for its ‘Splitting Steven’ campaign for Paras Pharma.
It is the first Lion to be won by the region this year in what has so far been a disappointing festival, with no MENA winners in direct, promo, PR, media and radio.
Yesterday, Memac Ogilvy Dubai was the only agency to receive any nominations in the cyber and design shortlists, the winners of which will be announced tomorrow. The film, film craft, titanium and integrated shortlists will be revealed on Friday.
