This year’s UAE Young Lions competition has opened for entries.
The deadline is 25 April, with the competition taking place on 4 May. The winners will represent the country at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in June, where they will be flown on an all-expenses paid trip by Motivate, hosts of the competition.
The competition is open to creative teams consisting of an art director and copywriter, with last year’s competition (pictured) seeing 15 teams battling out for top spot. The eventual winners were FP7’s Gautam Wadher and Akhilesh Dwarkadas, who went on to win silver in the Young Lions print competition at Cannes. They came second behind Nuno Teixeira and James Holman of TBWA\Singapore.
The UAE Young Lions competition is held in association with Dubai Media City and is supported by Getty Images and Xerox. This year’s Cannes will be held from 16-22 June.
