Tim Hortons appoints Aamir Allibhoy as chief marketing officer

Tim Hortons, part of AG Cafe International Management, has announced the appointment of Aamir Allibhoy as chief marketing manager of Tim Hortons in the Middle East.

Holding more than 20 years of experience in the industry, Allibhoy comes from an agency background, having worked with Impact BBDO previously.

Allibhoy started his career in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia in 2002 at Impact and took up roles in both Dubai and Riyadh and worked with brands such as PepsiCo, Emirates Airlines, P&G and YUM brands. He also set up and led the BBDO Pakistan office.

“Aamir comes to AG Café with great track record and wealth of experience in the Middle East. We are excited to have him on the team as our CMO to lead the marketing department and to orchestrate the marketing strategies that support our aggressive growth plan for Tim Hortons in the region,” said Hesham Almekkawi, CEO, Tim Hortons – Middle East

Allibhoy’s new role is based in Riyadh, which is the new regional headquarters for Tim Hortons.
