Condé Nast has announced a new leadership team for the Middle East with Thomas Khoury joining the company as Managing Director of the Middle East region. He has held previous leadership positions at Bloomberg, Sky News Arabia, Omnicom Media Group and WPP Group.
Selina Denman and Talib Choudhry join as Heads of Editorial Content for Condé Nast Traveller and Architectural Digest (AD), respectively.
Both titles have transitioned away from being published under license to being wholly owned and operated in January. They will begin publishing across all platforms and print later this year.
In this newly-created role overseeing all operations for the company in the Middle East, Khoury brings extensive experience in commercial strategy, digital media monetization, market and audience growth strategies, commercial product innovation and adtech adaptation.
“The Middle East’s travel and tourism industries are experiencing unprecedented growth, and as the region continues to attract global attention, there truly has never been a better time to highlight the Middle East as a travel destination,” said Denman.
Condé Nast’s Middle East operations for AD and Condé Nast Traveller are based in Dubai. The region represents the first new owned-and-operated market for the global media company since 2007.
