Matar handed creative director role at FP7 Beirut

Wissam Matar has joined FP7 Beirut as creative director.

He will head up the creative department alongside Rana Najjar, who left Leo Burnett Beirut for FP7 in September last year, with the pair forming a copy/art creative lead duo.

Matar, who was also previously with Leo Burnett, began his career at Intermarkets in 2001. His appointment is the latest in a string of creative changes at FP7, including the double departure of CCO Daniel Georr and Dubai’s executive creative director, Fadi Yaish, last summer. Paul Banham replaced Yaish in September.
