Media company Augustus Media has announced the launch of entertainment channel Lovin’s regional podcast network.
An expansion of the media company’s existing podcast in Dubai, The Lovin Dubai Show, the regional podcast network will cover 10 new countries and cities.
Each of the podcasts will feature local hosts in their own The Lovin show podcasts, covering locations such as Beirut, Amman, Khartoum, Bahrain, Baghdad, Kuwait, Palestine, Muscat and Pakistan.
The Lovin’ Show podcast aims to provide thoughtful, entertaining, and locally relevant content to audiences across the Lovin’ Cities.
The series will cover a wide range of topics, from local news and culture to lifestyle, food, and exclusive interviews with prominent personalities.
According to the company, the expansion of the regional podcast network is in line with Lovin’s broader mission to enhance the accessibility of local news.
The Lovin’ s existing portfolio of shows covers UAE through its Lovin Abu Dhabi Show and Lovin Dubai Show; Egypt through The Lovin Cairo Show and Saudi Arabia through The Lovin Saudi Show, and The Lovin Riyadh Show.
“Podcasts, as on-demand video and audio shows, are a cornerstone of modern media. Our distinctive Lovin’ format has thrived with the Lovin Dubai Show, prompting us to expand it across all our locations. In Egypt, it serves as a daily show for the people of Cairo.”
“In Doha, where there is no English radio station, it unites communities. Meanwhile, the Lovin Riyadh Show makes our Lovin Saudi content more accessible in English, connecting with a whole set of diverse audiences in the Kingdom,” said, Richard Fitzgerald, CEO & Founder of Augustus Media.
Under the Augustus Media Podcast Network umbrella, the company also features shows and podcasts such as Smashi Business Daily and Meen Mkssir Social Media.
