LIA reveals award winners for 2023

London International Awards (LIA) has revealed the award winners for 2023.

Regional agencies Impact BBDO, Wunderman Thompson Riyadh, Saatchi & Saatchi Dubai, Leo Burnett, Havas Middle East and FP7 McCann bagged metals at the awards.

The biggest winner from the region for the awards was Impact BBDO. The agency took home five Golds and one Bronze.

The agency’s most awarded campaign was Schoolgirl Newscasters for EBM, which received three golds for the categories, Ambient & Activation, Branded Content & Entertainment and TV/ Cinema.

The campaign was also shortlisted as a finalist under the Integration category.

The other campaign from the agency that picked up two of its Golds was Child Wedding Cards for UN Women. It won both Golds under Transformative Business Impact category.

The agency also won a Bronze for its Cannes-winning campaign, The Newspapers Inside The Newspaper Edition.

Wunderman Thompson Riyadh was the only agency from Saudi Arabia to win a prize at the Awards. The agency took a Silver for its Subconscious order campaign for HungerStation.

The campaign also won the country its first Grand Prix at Cannes earlier this year.

Havas Middle East and FP7 also bagged Silvers for their Superstar Ravi’s and Wall Street Balls campaigns respectively.

Other Silver winners include Publicis Groupe’s Leo Burnett and Saatchi & Saatchi.

Leo Burnett bagged its award for The Homecoming, while Saatchi & Saatchi took it home for Time To Read.

The Homecoming also won a Bronze and was shortlisted under other categories.

The Hidden Room was another campaign by Leo Burnett that was shortlisted, along with Havas Middle East’s Superstar Ravi’s and MullenLowe MENA’s Fixing the bAIs.

The London International Awards awarded 829 statues across its categories.

The awards’ overall ‘Of The Year’ awards including the regional agency of the year will be announced on 6 November, 2023.
