Leo Burnett MEA has promoted Ahmad Abu Zannad to the position of regional strategy director for the GCC.
Zannad previously served as head of strategic planning at Leo Burnett KSA until he was promoted to general manager of Leo Burnett Riyadh a year before taking on his current position, in Dubai. Before joining Leo Burnett, Zannad worked as head of consumer marketing at Zain in Jordan and Saudi Arabia.
He is also a published writer in the fields of brand, marketing and advertising strategy. His work includes ‘Saudi & the Human Touch’, ‘Does Your Brand Speak Human’ and ‘Is Your Brand Creating Enthusiasts or Cynics?’ (co-authored with K. Salibi).
He has been a keynote speak at several regional and global business conferences including: IP&TV MENA, IP&TV World in London, TV Connect Worldwide and TV Connect MENA, SaudiCom, Middle East Com, LTE MENA.
