Boutique agency Katch International has been re-appointed to handle public relations for the UAE’s biggest gaming expo GAMES Middle East.
Katch will cover media relations ahead of and throughout the two-day games and popular culture festival taking place at Dubai World Trade Centre from September 22nd.
The event will be a celebration of the gaming culture across the Middle East region and will showcase a number of new releases and will be frequented by a number of industry talents, though the line-up has yet to be announced.
Katch handled the PR account previously for organiser Alliance during the inaugural festival last September.
Arafaat Ali Khan, director of communications said: “One of our goals each year is to take every event and fan experience to an even more extraordinary level of offerings and excitement. Having a partner who we trust to help us achieve that is an integral part of the process. We are glad to have Katch back on-board to help us grow the event and further reach out to more families and gamers of every skill level this year.”
The Alliance and Katch are working hard to ensure that all types of gamers are more than satisfied with the content that GAMES Middle East brings. We are going to once again tap into our earlier fostered relationships with media and influencers who have been supportive from day one, but the list has grown from the previous year hence we are thrilled to be expanding the event’s network and meeting more like-minded people and institutions who are equally passionate about gaming,” says Georgina Woollams, managing director of Katch International.
