IMPACT BBDO Dubai has been ranked No.1 creative agency in the Middle East, Africa and Asia on the WARC Creativity 100 list. With 478 points, the agency also ranked at No.2 in the world, only a very close 6 points behind David Miami, and an improvement on their previous 2020 ranking of No.5 in the world.
The WARC Creative 100 is a ranking of the world’s most awarded campaigns and companies for creativity. It tracks the results of creative award shows around the world, and acts as a benchmark for creative excellence, allowing marketers to compare their performance with that of their peers.
Other UAE agencies on the rankings include Memac Ogilvy Dubai at No.7, IMPACT BBDO Beirut at No.33, and FP7 McCann Dubai at No.42.
As a result of this, the United Arab Emirates is now ranked amongst the Top 10 creative countries. The UAE is at No.9 in 2021, overtaking Japan, and moving up 3 ranks from No.12 in 2020.
IMPACT BBDO also feature not one, but two campaigns in the Top 10 global Campaigns of 2021: Snickers Hunger Insurance at No.6, and The New National Anthem Edition for AnNahar Newspaper at No.9. Both campaigns have been hugely successful through the year, picking up multitudes of awards.
Dani Richa, Chairman and CEO, IMPACT BBDO Middle East, Africa and Pakistan, said, “It is wonderful to see our agency from the Middle East making it all the way to the second position worldwide – This is testament to BBDO’s strength, where great work comes from every corner of the globe. It is also rewarding to see that our Dubai office, with 67 nationalities, has gone from a local agency to a truly international creative boutique delivering world class work.”
