Havas promotes Naveen Chacko Mathews to GM

Havas Middle East has announced the appointment of Naveen Mathews as the General Manager for Havas Media UAE.

Mathews has been a part of Havas Media for more than nine years in the Head of Business role.

In his new role, Mathews will now oversee all media operations in the UAE along with client servicing. He will also support Havas Media’s CEO, Houda Tohme, in expanding the agency’s offerings.

In a restructuring of responsibilities, Tohme will now focus on the Media Group’s expansion into new Middle Eastern markets and its operations in Saudi Arabia.

Senior leadership promotions

Havas also announced the promotions of senior leadership,  Fabio Silveira and Dana Tahir to Managing Directors. 

As a part of their new roles, Silveira, who has been with the Havas Group in multiple markets for over a decade, and Tahir, who joined Havas Middle East in 2008, will continue to develop the business.

The agency is making changes, not only regionally but globally as well. Early this week, The global Havas brand announced a rebrand of its visual identity. The identity is to be rolled out shortly across all markets including the Middle East later this year.
