GES Middle East appoints Mohammad Al-Moulki, expert in experiential marketing, content and technology to drive the interactive activations business forward.

GES has announced the appointment of Mohammad Al-Moulki.  With a strong career history in all things digital and groundbreaking technology, Moulki will be spearheading the interactive technology and experiential projects building on GES’ strong foundations in this sector.

Moulki began his career in a technical sales role which is a true testament to his larger-than-life personality. He has mastered the art of being technical while being consultative, an absolute must when re-imagining brand experiences.  Moulki spent several years working for Fractal Systems who specialize in professional event technology solutions.  Kinetic Sculptures, Immersive AV, Innovative Marketing Applications and Mixed Reality Installations contribute to a day in the life of Moulki.

In the past Moulki has led plenty of globally renowned technology activations such as:

Ministry of Health and Prevention attendance at Arab Health 2020 where he implemented all of the booth experiences with embedded systems, a first for the exhibition industry. This included 10 dynamic facades incorporating different aspects of engineering, software development and content animation.

Inaugurated by His Highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al- Maktoum, Moulki led the Digital DEWA project at Emirates Towers, which is a permanent activation combining automation systems to handle lights, audio and air conditioning controls, executing a full 360 experience.

One of his projects even made the Guinness World Record for ‘the largest indoor wedding’ and ‘largest indoor projection dome in the world’. The Al Maktoum Royal Wedding also featured kinetic cat-walks and groundbreaking technology transporting the royal bride around the venue.

Moulki’s education at the Rochester Institute of Technology was the catalyst for his love of tech and pushing the boundaries. His further learning led him to be an ambassador of sustainability and all things green, which is closely aligned to GES’ ISO, recycling and environmental stewardship strategy.

Jo Webber, VP client relations, commented “Moulki is the perfect addition to the GES family.  As brand experiences become ever more important, Moulki’s skills and expertise will take GES and our client’s brand engagement strategies to the next level

Moulki has felt right at home from the get-go. GES has a high potential pool of talent. Combining experience, research and concepts we present professional, tactful and adaptive systems.”

Commenting on his appointment, Moulki said “You can’t say events and exhibitions without mentioning GES in the same sentence here in the region if not globally. I’ve had the pleasure of working with the team on various projects and one thing is for sure they do set a precedent when it comes to providing a trendsetting event or exhibition. The team has made my start blissful so far and I can’t wait to see what our collective efforts will offer to keep us as industry innovators for years to come.”
