Fast Company launches in the Middle East

Business title Fast Company will be launched in the Middle East by Dubai-based Vibe Projects and the US publishing holding company Mansueto Ventures. The launch of the website will be in March 2022, followed by the print magazine in May.

Fast Company is a business media brand that was founded in November 1995.

“At Fast Company, we believe that business can and should be a vehicle for progress in the region. Our mission is to help businesses, and businesspeople, live up to that high goal. Fast Company is for people who want to make a difference,” says Ravi Raman, publisher of Fast Company ME.

The magazine will be available in the GCC, Egypt and Lebanon. Apart from the online platform, Fast Company will also host awards and events like Most Creative People in Business, Next Big Things in Tech, World Changing Ideas, and Most Innovative Companies.

The advertising sales for the publication will be done internally, with a launch magazine consisting of close to 200 pages and 15,750 copies per issue, according to the publisher Ravi Raman. The subscription will be invitational to medium to large businesses, CEOs, business leaders, and distributed on high traffic areas and events.

The content for the Middle Eastern edition will consist of 60 per cent of original content, produced for and by the region in English language only, with the remaining content selected from the global edition headquartered in New York owned by Mansueto Ventures.

The local team will consist of a core team of 18, with over 50 consulting editors and an expert panel of writers. The team consist of a diverse group of people with different backgrounds and a history of working with brands like Bloomberg Businessweek, Forbes, Harvard Business Review, Mashable, New York Times, Wired, and Khaleej Times.
