Dubai Chamber and TikTok help over 280 start-ups and SMEs strengthen their digital growth strategies goals

TikTok for Business and Dubai Chamber have been paving the way for entrepreneurs and start-ups across the UAE by helping them with their digital growth strategies thanks to their partnership on the Dubai Chamber-TikTok Academy. To date, almost 300 businesses have taken part in the educational programme, with participants across a wide variety of industries such as tech, art, health, construction, banking eager to learn more about building and expanding their presence on the TikTok platform to grow their reach.

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are a cornerstone of Arab economies, accounting for over 90 per cent of all businesses and providing a major source of new job creation. That’s why the Dubai Chamber and TikTok’s joint initiative was created, to educate and help the SME and startup community fuel growth by building brand power and gain exposure among international audiences as well as potential customers.

“We take great pride in the interest businesses and entrepreneurs have shown in the Dubai Chambers TikTok Academy and in their participation thus far,” said Shant Oknayan, general manager, global business solutions, Middle East Africa Turkey, and Pakistan, TikTok. “In this digital age, businesses must dedicate their efforts to further strengthen their online presence for business success. We hope to support more businesses in the months to come through the Academy and help them with their digital transformation strategies.”

Businesses and entrepreneurs interested in taking part in the next Dubai Chamber-TikTok Academy, will be able to apply to the program once it launches again later in the year.
