Hindi entertainment channel Viacom18’s COLORS has achieved the no. 1 ranking in viewership among Indian and Pakistani viewers.
The channel was ranked first in the Hindi General Entertainment Channel (GEC) category, as per measurement company IPSOS’s TRP ratings data. The channel achieved this ranking across UAE in February, 2024.
According to Viacom18, the channel has been growing steadily in terms of viewership (TRP metric) over the past year.
It revealed that amongIndian and Pakistani viewers in the UAE, COLORS has been the #1 Hindi GEC in the primetime slot of 6pm to 12 am for the past 5 months.
It has also been the #1 Hindi GEC amongst Indians for last 6 months from Sep 2023 to Feb 2024.

The company says that the channel’s recent programming refresh in February has further “fuelled” its success.
These include programmes such as its flagship dance reality show Dance Deewanem, fiction dramas Qayaamat Se Qayaamat Tak, Mera Balam Thanedaar and Doree and movie premieres.
COLORS also recently launched non-fiction shows like Desi Beat and Colors Food Trail in March to cater to an international audience.
