Cannes Lions reveals Jury Presidents for 2024

Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity has announced the Jury Presidents for the 2024 awards.

Representing the region, Kalpesh Patankar the Chief Creative Officer at Leo Burnett UAE. Patankar will serve as the President for the Industry Craft Lions category.

Among the Jury Presidents are also global chiefs from agencies such as Accenture Song, McCann, FCB, David, AKQA, and the newly-merged entity VML.

Ariana Stolarz, Global Chief Strategy Officer –Marketing at Accenture Song,  will act as the Creative Business Transformation Lions President.

Global Chief Strategy Officer at McCann and McCann Worldgroup, Harjot Singh, will serve as Creative Effectiveness Lions President.

Another Global Chief Strategy Officer among the Jury Presidents is Vita M. Harris from FCB. She will lead the Creative Strategy Lions jury.

Global Chief Creatives confirmed as Jury Presidents include David’s Pancho Cassis, AKQA’s Diego Machado, Dentsu Health’s Collette Douaihy and VML’s Debbi Vandeven.

They will lead the Direct Lions, Innovation Lions, Pharma Lions and The Dan Wieden Titanium Lions respectively.

Representing brands among the Jury Presidents are Amazon Music and Apple.

Madeline Nelson, US Head of Independent Label Relations of Amazon Music will Entertainment Lions for Music category.

Leading the Film Lions category is Tor Myhren, VP Marketing Communications at Apple Inc, Global.

The Jury President of the new Luxury & Lifestyle Lions category is yet to be announced.

Convening in Cannes in June, the Jury Presidents will help award creative and effective work.

Commenting on the Jury Presidents, Simon Cook, CEO, LIONS, said: “Our Jury Presidents play a crucial role in the existence of the Lions.
