AI-powered advertising technology company Smartly has appointed Farimah Moeini as its Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

With more than 17 years of experience in the advertising industry, Moeini previously has been instrumental in shaping and scaling revenue operations at Snap Inc. and Yahoo within the region.

“At Smartly, we’re transforming the ad experience for consumers with AI by partnering with leading brands and agencies, and Farimah’s deep expertise in the MENA advertising landscape, combined with her passion for innovation, makes her the ideal leader to drive our growth in the region. We’re confident that, together, we can help brands reach new levels of performance and creativity,” said Matt Bush, Chief Revenue Officer, Smartly.

In her new role, Moeini will focus on strengthening client relationships, delivering innovative and localised brand experiences and accelerating advertiser adoption of Smartly’s AI-powered solutions in the region.

“The transformative potential of AI in marketing and advertising is incredibly exciting,” said Moeini. “Smartly isn’t just keeping pace; they’re leading the charge with AI-powered automation across the entire marketing funnel. I’m excited to empower brands and agencies to deliver better ads and business growth with Smartly’s platform.”

Moeini’s appointment reflects Smartly’s expansion in the MENA region amid growing demand for its AI-powered advertising solutions.

It offers solutions such as Brand Pulse, the real-time reach and frequency solution powered by Smartly, Comscore and GWI data sets, to plan, measure, and optimise campaigns by de-duplicating reach across platforms.

Additionally, Smartly’s AI Studio has empowered more than 250 brands, enabling a creative process that is 30 times faster and delivering an average performance lift of 27 per cent, the adtech company said in a statement to Campaign Middle East.
