MBC GROUP announces top performance results for its Ramadan 2021 season

Out of the top 20 programmes watched via satellite TV in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia this Ramadan, 15 of them were produced/broadcast by MBC GROUP.

MBC GROUP, the largest media company in the Middle East & North Africa (MENA), announces its performance results for Ramadan 2021, with both satellite TV and online streaming ranking high amongst viewers.

Shahid VIP – MBC GROUP’s SVOD offering and the world’s leading Arabic streaming platform – continues to see steady growth, reaching a total of 2 million subscribers by the end of Ramadan 2021. This marks a 43% year-on-year increase (1.4 million in Ramadan 2020).
