Which brands made it to the top for ad awareness?

YouGov has revealed UAE’s February advertiser of the month for Ad Awareness scores.

YouGov BrandIndex collects data on thousands of brands every day and a brand’s Ad Awareness score is based on the question: “Which of the following consumer brands have you seen an advertisement for in the past two weeks?”

In February, Apple, Colgate, and Samsung Galaxy had the biggest boost in Ad Awareness in the UAE, according to data from the BrandIndex.

It shows people noticed their ads compared to other brands. The Ad Awareness question asks if consumers saw an ad for a brand in the last two weeks. The difference in scores between the highest and lowest determines the top advertisers of the month.

Apple launched the Apple Vision Pro on February 2, marking its entry into the mixed reality headset market, its first major product launch since the Apple Watch in 2015.

The BrandIndex reported an increase in Apple’s Ad Awareness metric, rising by 9.3 percentage points from January 30 to February 25, reaching 60.7 percent.

Colgate followed closely, experiencing a rise of 9.1 percentage points in Ad Awareness from January 26 to February 19, reaching 33.5 percent.

Samsung Galaxy ranked third, with an 8.6 percentage point increase in Ad Awareness from January 26 to February 21, reaching 55 percent. This surge followed the launch of its Galaxy S24 series during the company’s event, with the Galaxy S24 Ultra official film gaining over 30 million views on YouTube.
