Umami Comms is expanding its footprint across the GCC as demand grows for public relations and hospitality-led creative work, alongside the development of its creative studio, Good Juju.

Starting the year strong, the agency recent hospitality appointments include Fairmont Hotels Dubai, Rosewood Hotels in Abu Dhabi and Raffles Hotel Dubai. Umami has also been appointed for the launch of Amaru in Dubai; and as the creative partner for Paris Paradis, the Parisian cabaret, delivering launch campaign materials, website development and content.

In addition, COYA has appointed Umami to design and conceptualise its new cocktail menu, which will be rolled out globally across the brand’s locations.

Umami Comms is currently managing more than 50 brands and projects across Riyadh, Jeddah, Doha, Kuwait, Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Recent assignments include public relations and creative work for Diageo, supporting brands such as Guinness, Tanqueray, Johnnie Walker and World Class.

Good Juju is building a pipeline of lifestyle and cultural briefs. Recent work includes projects with PAUS Wellness in Dubai, PR and event management for the launch and regional cinema premiere of BAAB,and PR support for Lebanese fashion designer Gemy Maalouf.

Colin Hutton, Founder and CEO, Umami Comms & Good Juju says, “Good Juju allows us to move faster and broaden the type of creative briefs we take on, while keeping the same standards and service that Umami is known for. We’re also building new content capability behind the scenes, and we’ll share more on that soon.”

The studio is also developing campaign assets for Oxir, an oxygen hydration drink entering the market, and additional branding and UI and UX projects currently in development.
