The Marketing Society UAE has today announced the launch of The Leadership Accelerator by Think Equal, a prestigious six-month programme designed to propel 12 outstanding female leaders in marketing and communications into senior leadership positions.

Created in response to the growing need for greater representation of women at the top of the industry, The Leadership Accelerator will support high-potential professionals who are looking to accelerate their career as they take a step into executive leadership.

Amina Taher, CMO, Wio Bank & Chair of The Marketing Society UAE, said, “We’re launching The Leadership Accelerator because the UAE is home to some of the world’s most talented female marketers – yet their voices are still underrepresented in the boardroom. This programme is here to change that.”

Thanks to the generous support of TikTok and Weber Shandwick, participation in the programme is fully funded, offering a unique and complimentary opportunity for ambitious female leaders to accelerate their careers.

Through a blend of transformative workshops, in-person events, virtual sessions and world-class mentoring, participants will gain the confidence, skills and networks to lead with greater impact. The programme is built around three core pillars:

  • Community – building a powerful peer network of ambitious female leaders
  • Capability – sharpening the leadership skills required to thrive at the top
  • Clarity – defining leadership purpose and style to lead with lasting impact

Taher continues, “By equipping high-potential women with the skills, confidence, and connections they need, we’re opening doors to leadership and building a more equal, diverse, and impactful future for our industry. I’m passionate about bringing people together and creating opportunities where women feel seen, heard, and empowered to drive real change.”

This annual initiative will connect participants with some of the region’s most influential CMOs and CEOs, while helping shape a more equal future for the marketing and communications industry.

With only 12 places available and applications closing on Friday 10 October 2025, competition is expected to be high.
