Seedtag has appointed Brendan McCarthy as its Chief Marketing & Communications Officer. As part of his role at Seedtag, McCarthy will oversee the Neuro-Contextual advertising company’s global marketing and communications strategy.
McCarthy brings more than 20 years of experience in strategic marketing and communications, having worked at companies such as Nielsen, Samsung and EBay. He has moved to Seedtag from his previous role as CMO at Criteo.
Leveraging his experience from Criteo, where he transformed the company’s positioning from a single-product solution point to an AI-centric commerce media platform, McCarthy will support Seedtag’s expansion and its Neuro-Contextual advertising solutions across the web and connected TV (CTV).
McCarthy will head up a global team that will work to advance the company’s brand, boost demand, and bring together marketing and communications as a single growth engine. His appointment comes at a key time for the Neuro-Contextual advertising company, as its proprietary AI platform, Liz, continues to drive global growth and momentum.
“At Seedtag, we believe the future of advertising isn’t about tracking people— it’s about understanding them,” said Brian Gleason, CEO of Seedtag. “Brendan brings the rare ability to turn vision into momentum and innovation into impact. As we expand Liz and our Neuro-Contextual platform globally, his leadership will help brands connect with audiences in more meaningful, measurable ways.”
“Seedtag has proven it can disrupt the status quo with a years-long track record of rapid growth in mature advertising markets,” said McCarthy. “I’m confident we can accelerate that momentum by aligning our brand and global communications to drive even more value for our clients. We have a unique opportunity to lead the category as the premier AI-driven partner for brands that value both innovation and consumer trust.”
