Marketing Mania redesigns brand with ‘order and chaos’

It partnered with agency R/GA which has also been announced as the strategic partner for the event

Marketing Mania has launched a brand redesign with agency R/GA.

R/GA has also been announced as the strategic partner for Marketing Mania, as the conference significantly evolves and expands its presence for 2023.

It is being hosted at a new larger venue of Dubai Harbour from 15 to 18 October.

R/GA said the brand design concept is “derived from the order and chaos present in the name”.

“The new monogram animates to reflect dual states and is complimented by a system that continues to reflect duality. Colours intentionally contrast and clash. Iconography is constructed with a single line, echoing the form and behaviour of the logo. All combine together in expectedly unexpected ways,” the agency said.

“The outcome is a playful brand that challenges the conventions of how an events brand should look and behave.”

R/GA’S EMEA Chief Creative Officer, Nick Pringle said: “We embraced the beautiful chaos of ‘Mania’— expressed through fluid, organic and bold 3D typography, always in a state of change. When combined together the brand becomes a playful contrast of elements and unpredictability.”

Marketing Mania describes itself as ‘the leading marketing and creative technology trade show in the MENA region’.

It aims to gather those that are reinventing the marketing, communications and CX benchmarks globally.
