Loeries Rankings 2025: BigTime Creative Shop tops MENA list

The 2025 rankings from the Loeries have revealed the top-performing agencies and brands across Africa and the Middle East, based on cumulative points awarded throughout the year.

In the overall MENA agency rankings, BigTime Creative Shop claimed the number one position, making a big leap from its seventh position in 2024, with campaigns such as Everything or Nothing, 4th Judge, 5v5 and Obsession contributing to their win.

Publicis Groupe Middle East agencies Saatchi & Saatchi Middle East and Publicis Middle East took over the following spots, ranking second and third.

The MENA agency top 10 feature a mix of independent creative shops and network agencies, including Impact BBDO Dubai, (#4), FP7 McCann Dubai (#5), Leo Middle East (#6) and Serviceplan Middle East (#8).

In the broader Africa and Middle East agency rankings, South African agency Joe Public secured the number one spot, with BigTime Creative Shop ranking second overall across the combined region. Saatchi & Saatchi Middle East rounded up the top three.

Publicis Middle East (#4), Impact BBDO (#7), FP7 McCann (#9), LEO Middle East (#12), Serviceplan Middle East (#20), Digitas Dubai (#24), and Havas Middle East (#28) were the other Middle Eastern agencies ranked among the top 30 agencies on the list.

Agency rankings by size

Among large agencies – agencies that employ more than 85+ employees – Saatchi & Saatchi Middle East ranked second, and Publicis Middle East third, with Impact BBDO Dubai, FP7 McCann Dubai and LEO Middle East also appearing in the top 10.

In the Agency Size – Medium category (25–85 employees), BigTime Creative Shop secured first again, followed by Serviceplan Middle East and Digitas Dubai at fourth and fifth. Horizon FCB Dubai completed the group ranking overall in tenth place.

Within the Independent Agency ranking, BigTime Creative Shop placed second, alongside Serviceplan Middle East at number six.

Brand rankings from MENA

On the brand side, Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority secured the first position in MENA, followed by KitKat and The Ring in second and third spots, respectively.

Brands across diverse categories made it to the list, featuring retail brands such as CarrefourSA (#6) and Home Centre (#6). FMCG brands such as NANA (#4), Arla Foods (#08), and Nivea (#10), along with the healthcare-focused Testicular Cancer Society, made the top 10 brands in the MENA region.

The Loeries 2025 rankings were calculated based on cumulative points earned from awarded work that won Grand Prix, Gold, Silver and Bronze awards, with additional weighting for campaign categories, which received 1.5 times the standard points.
