Impact BBDO’s creative chief Ali Rez and Stoked Film’s Executive Producer Rita El Hachem have been named as jury chairs at the Clio Awards for 2024.
The appointments mark the first time jury presidents have been appointed from the Middle East region.
Rez will lead the jury deliberations for the Print and Out of Home categories and El Hachem will lead the Film Craft Production Design jury,
Rez’s nomination as Clio jury chair follows his earlier appointment in 2023 as the Middle East’s first jury president at Cannes Lions.
Speaking on the news, Rez said, “A Clio was my first award ever way back as an advertising student, and it’s an emotional moment to be nominated to this position. Thank you to Dani Richa and David Lubars for all the support, and to the Clios team.”
Rez will also be one of the 12 of the jury chairs that will form a unified jury themselves and will determine the Grand Clio Winner in Innovation.

Rita El Hachem commented on the appointment, “First time I held our own Clio award in 2018 and felt its imposing weight and stature in my hands, I was overwhelmed with a mixture of elation and pride.

El Hachem is part of the jury chairs for Clios Film Craft categories, which will collectively award a Grand Clio for Film Craft.
