Mohamed Siam, regional marketing director, to receive award at the Festival on 11 March.
Dubai Lynx has named Henkel, which has in its fold brands like Fa, Persil, Loctite and Schwarzkopf, as the 2015 Advertiser of the Year.
Philip Thomas, CEO of Lions Festivals, commented that Henkel were “worthy recipients of this award due to their phenomenal marketing efforts which have resulted in creative advertising that proves itself to be innovative and inspirational time and time again.”
Last year, Henkel won five gold awards at the Dubai Lynx International Festival of Creativity, besides a Grand Prix in the Direct category for ‘Preserving Pride’, DDB Dubai’s campaign for Persil Black and Persil White. Over the previous three years, work on the company’s brands won seven trophies at the Festival.

Henkel established its presence in the MENA region in 1998. It has a presence in laundry and home care, beauty care and adhesive technologies.
Siam will receive the award on behalf of the company at the Festival on 11 March 2015.
Past winners of the Advertiser of the Year title are Land Rover, MENA (2014), Batelco (2013), P&G (2012), Coca-Cola, Egypt (2011), STC – Saudi Telecom (2010) and Melody Entertainment, Egypt (2009).
