The 2020 Dubai Lynx Advertiser of the Year will be awarded to Saudi Telecom Company (STC). The Advertiser of the Year Award recognises a brand that has distinguished themselves through innovative marketing and embracing creative work produced by their agencies.
Digitisation is at the heart of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 initiative, and as a world-class digital leader, STC are recognised for their role in helping Saudi adapt to the realities of new technology. Their innovative services and platforms supply their customers with an evolving and more informative customer service.
Already awarded a total of 19 Lynx awards since 2016, in categories from Media to Design, STC have experienced huge success at Dubai Lynx. In 2019, the company received six Lynx awards, including two prestigious Grands Prix in the Film Craft and Glass categories. The Akhou Nora campaign, winner of the Glass Grand Prix demonstrated STC’s commitment to overcoming hurdles associated with the royal decree that gave women the right to drive. In line with the Saudi Arabia Vision 2030 to modernise and reform, the campaign urged the whole nation to back cultural change. Separately, What are we allowing, was awarded a Grand Prix in the Film Craft category for effectively addressing the dangers of online challenges posted across social media, with an innovative application, Tuby.

Senior representatives from STC accepted the Award at STC HQ in Riyadh. STC will formally accept the accolade on stage at the Dubai Lynx Festival of Creativity, taking place from 8 – 11 March 2020.
