Burger King – 20 Years Young

Burger King has released  an “emotional” commercial to celebrate 20 years of Burger King in the Middle East. Shot around Dubai by young directors Sebastian Funke and Jan Vogel and set to a soundtrack by Joe Dickinson of BKP, the pan-Arab ad is rolling out across TV, online and cinema.

  • I’m not a fan of this, it contains zero brand identity. This could quite easily be re-used for Coca-Cola, McDonalds, Mountain Dew etc etc….

    If a brand is going to celebrate heritage, for me it needs to contain something nostalgic which makes me recognize where it has come from – not just a montage of young people enjoying themselves in our city.
