Najla is a Saudi star worth watching. She is brilliant at what she does when it comes to uncovering and unravelling Saudi insights as a strategist and helping us make our work more locally attuned and effective. But she’s also a brilliant mind, beyond our field, which is what makes her a talent worth noting. She has an entrepreneurial mind and is a consistent winner at major idea hackathons in Saudi Arabia. And one thing stood out for me about her: She gave her first major winnings to her family. Now, that’s a high-quality individual right there, worth recognizing.

Career highlights

I am Najla Ali, a Strategy & Insights Executive at Saatchi & Saatchi with experience spanning government, startups, and global agencies. I began my career early by joining the government sector in my second year of university through Saudi Venture Capital (SVC) and National Unified Procurement Company (NUPCO), gaining expertise in strategy and innovation.

I later expanded into startups and agencies, refining my leadership and problem-solving skills. I have been selected for McKinsey & Company’s Qimam Fellowship, the Salam for Cultural Communication Fellowship, and the PwC Mentorship Program. I am passionate about developing culturally relevant strategies that drive impact and meaningful change.

I believe in innovation, problem-solving, and cultural authenticity to create strategies that are both locally grounded and globally competitive. My approach is rooted in collaboration, adaptability, and continuous learning, ensuring that every project delivers real impact and sustainable growth while staying true to the values of the community it serves

Side hustle

Beyond my role, I engage in volunteering, innovation labs, and startup consulting, solving real-world challenges with creative strategies. I’ve won multiple first-place hackathons and competitions, including ROSHN, the Saudi Industrial Development Fund (SIDF), and the Social Development Bank, along with the Best Marketing Campaign award at the Marketing Forum 2022.
