PR firm Bacchus opens new office in Saudi Arabia

To lead the agency's new office in Riyadh, Tarek ElMoukachar joins as Senior Partner and Co-Founder of Bacchus KSA.

PR agency Bacchus has added its seventh agency location in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, joining London, New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Dubai and Doha.

Registered as Bee Arabia LLC, the move aims to formalise the agency’s foothold in the country and expand its presence across the GCC region.

The Riyadh office will offer the agency’s suite of integrated services, including consumer, corporate, and crisis communications, strategy and advisory, reputation management, digital and social media, as well as event management and production.

Bacchus has appointed Tarek ElMoukachar as Senior Partner and Co-Founder of Bacchus KSA to lead the agency in the territory. He will work alongside the agency’s UAE Co-Founder Fiona Wishart with global support from Bacchus Co-CEO & Co-Founder Anouschka Menzies.

This unified approach aims to leverage Bacchus’ global network, aimed at strengthening the agency’s presence throughout key growth markets.

“Having worked extensively in the Kingdom we are delighted that Tarek joins Bacchus to lead our local team alongside Fiona,” said Menzies.

“Tarek is highly experienced and brings a wealth of expertise from his previous roles, already driving significant
campaigns for some of the region’s most pioneering developments, hospitality brands and corporate entities,” she added.

ElMoukachar will also lead the growth strategy for Bacchus KSA, with a focus on capitalising on the growth opportunities arising from increased tourism and sustained economic growth across the GCC region.

On his appointment, he said: “After working with the incredibly talented Bacchus team in my previous role, I’m immensely looking forward to this next chapter of growth and expansion for the agency.”

“Bacchus’ global reach and powerful understanding of a highly influential community is an incredible opportunity to bring world-class expertise and service to the region,” he added.

After successfully launching Habitas AlUla to local and international markets in 2021, the agency’s aim is to position itself for significant growth across real estate, hospitality and tech, backed by a six-member team of local specialists and international communications experts.

The agency has a strong focus on sectors aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and is already supporting high-profile clients such as Boutique Group, Rosewood Jeddah, Leylaty Group and Jayasom Wellness Resort AMAALA.
