Dentsu Sports International has appointed Ali AlJehani as Senior Vice President, MENA, strengthening the network’s sports and entertainment advisory presence in Saudi Arabia and across the region.
Based in Riyadh, AlJehani will lead projects spanning sport and entertainment, supporting clients in building long-term brand and commercial impact. His remit also includes advancing Dentsu Sports International’s regional presence and enhancing its capabilities in delivering insights and advisory services.
AlJehani brings experience from senior positions at WWE and NEOM, where he was involved in brand growth, strategic partnerships and business development. This background, combining both international and national experience, positions him to help dentsu expand its role within Saudi Arabia’s fast-evolving sports and entertainment market.
“I’m thrilled to be joining dentsu, an organisation with a truly global perspective and a proven track record in sport and entertainment,” said AlJehani. “I look forward to working with the team to deliver innovative solutions and to support the growth of the business in Saudi Arabia and beyond.”
Charlie Wylie, Managing Director, EMEA at Dentsu Sports International, welcomed the appointment, noting AlJehani’s “expertise, regional knowledge and proven ability to deliver growth for global organisations will be invaluable as we continue to expand our presence in Saudi Arabia.”
Tarek Daouk, CEO of dentsu MENAT, added that the appointment reflects the network’s long-term commitment to the Kingdom. “Through dentsu’s sports consultancy services, we are able to deliver advisory solutions backed by world-class data, insights, and creative thinking,” he said. “Ali’s appointment deepens our local leadership in the market and strengthens our ability to help our clients build deeper fan connections and create more measurable impact across the sports and entertainment ecosystem.”
AlJehani’s appointment signals dentsu’s intent to expand its leadership across MENA while investing in Saudi Arabia as a hub for sports and entertainment.
