Starcom MediaVest Group (SMG) has announced the appointment of Sue Frogley to a newly created role of global commercial director. She joins SMG from Dentsu Aegis Media, where she was president of commercial operations. Based in London, she will report to Laura Desmond, global CEO, SMG.
Frogley will be responsible for building commercial capability and practice to drive client revenue, informed an agency statement. She will work across global network clients, ‘setting a strategic M&A vision and investment strategy’. Her mandate covers new revenue sources through new commercial models and trading deals, the agency said.
Desmond said, “As clients move more toward globalisation and as marketplace dynamics are changing at warp speed, Sue will be instrumental in navigating the landscape and maximising value for our business and for our clients.”
