Who won big at Dubai Lynx?

Five prestigious Grand Prix were won, including four for Leo Burnett, Jeddah

Saudi Arabia scooped five Grand Prix at Dubai Lynx, with ‘ProtecTasbih’, for Saudia, entered by Leo Burnett, Jeddah winning four of the prestigious awards.

At a glittering awards ceremony at Dubai’s Emirates Golf Club, it was a big night for many while Leo Burnett dominated the stage. In addition to its campaign awards, Leo Burnett won network of the year and MENA agency of the year.

VML, Dubai/ VML, New York also scored big with its ‘I See Coke’ campaign picking up three Grand Prix.

‘Rumble’ for General Entertainment Authority entered by Accenture Song, Dubai, took home seven Lynx Awards, including Grands Prix in the Film and Film Craft.

Other notable winners included VML, Casablanca, which was awarded Morocco’s first ever Grand Prix, taking home the Grand Prix for Good.

Ian Fairservice, Vice Chairman, Dubai Lynx, said: “This year’s winners really showcase the level of excellence coming from the region. A huge congratulations to all our winners, Special Award winners and Young Lynx Competition winners.”

The insights and trends from this year’s work will be explored in the Dubai Lynx Creativity Report, providing the official rankings for this year’s top performing networks, agencies and companies from across the region, and published on 20 March.

Simon Cook, CEO, LIONS & Dubai Lynx, congratulated all the winners for “setting the creative benchmark in MENA for another year” while thanking all the jurors for their hard work and dedication.
