Roya Media Group launches live news channel

Roya Media Group (RMG) has launched a 24-hour live news channel, currently in an experimental phase.

The launch of the new channel is part of the media group’s strategy to diversify its broadcasting media according to the needs of its target audience.

This step also comes as part of the RMG’s development programs and its commitment to providing unique media experiences to its viewers and followers.

Roya TV says that it hopes that the “launch will be the start of a new phase of media interaction and effective communication with its audience”.

The launch represents an “important turning point” for RMG to diversify its lines of communication with its audience, by providing  latest news and current affairs to them.

The channel will provide live field reporting from Jordan, including breaking news and the latest events of the country.  It will also broadcast Palestine’s news brief to shed light on the events of the occupied homeland and the concerns of the Palestinian people.

The  channel’s daily news bulletins will cover the local and Arab news including political content as well as social, economic and sports, as well as international news.

Apart from news, the content on the channel will also feature political, intellectual and economic seminars, as well as educational documentaries, from the RMG’s archives and productions.

The programming will feature shows such as news programme Akhbar Al-Sabe’a (News at Seven), socio-political programme Nabd Al-Balad (The Country’s Pulse), and a  political chat show Haki Siyasi (Political Talk).

It also highlights a special programme,  Min Huna Nabdaa (This is Where We Begin) which reaches out to the relevant officials in order to find solutions to people’s daily challenges and complaints. It aims to cover local issues, looking at different angles and aspects.

The live news channel is accessible through Roya TV’s website and mobile application.
