Memac stands alone in cyber shortlist

It’s been another disappointing morning for the region at Cannes, with Memac Ogilvy Dubai the only agency to receive any nominations in the cyber and design shortlists.

Memac has two shortlists, one each for its ‘Resize-a-room’ (pictured) and ‘Musical shelves’ online campaigns, both of which are for Ikea. There are no shortlisted entries in the design category.

The shortlists mean that another Dubai Lynx grand prix winner, Memac Ogilvy Label, Tunisia, is also out of the running for some metalwork following yesterday’s lacklustre display in direct, PR, promo, media and outdoor. Label’s ‘Boga Cidre’ campaign won the interactive grand prix at the Lynx in March.
