
Info Media Group (IMG) has appointed Safwat Abdulkhalek as its new General Manager, placing him in charge of the company’s UAE operations as it looks to strengthen its out-of-home (OOH) footprint and accelerate growth across key markets.
In the role, Abdulkhalek will be responsible for overseeing IMG’s commercial direction and day-to-day operations, with a mandate to scale its premium outdoor media portfolio across high-visibility urban locations. He will also work closely with the group’s leadership team to strengthen relationships with agency and client partners, while supporting the company’s wider regional expansion in key markets.
The appointment comes as IMG continues to build its presence across the UAE and Southeast Europe, focusing on high-impact outdoor media formats positioned within major city environments.
Abdulkhalek brings more than 14 years of experience in the media and communications sector, having held senior leadership roles at global media agencies operating across the Middle East. His background spans multiple industries, including banking, real estate, retail, telecommunications, aviation and FMCG, with a focus on driving commercial performance and delivering integrated media solutions.
